Get to Know Us
The Aldridge Tabernacle Church of God in Christ was founded in Slater, MO in 1925 by Elder Leonard Jones. After several pastors, Elder Aldridge became the pastor in 1949 and served for 26 years. After his passing, several pastors served the church until Elder Charles Stephenson, Sr. became the pastor in 1981, and his son Charles Stephenson, Jr. took over in 2003. In 2007, the church changed its name to Powerhouse Ministries Incorporated and continues to thrive and grow, with outreach ministries to the community. Elder Stephenson is currently the Senior Pastor of Powerhouse Ministries and the District Superintendent of the Moberly District. He also serves as an Administrative Assistant in Missouri Western Second Jurisdiction under the leadership of Bishop John Mark Johnson.
