Pastor Charles Stephenson was born in Marshall, Missouri; the town of the famous retriever “Jim the Wonder Dog”. He attended Marshall High School and excelled in the sport of Wrestling. He won several state championships; gain All-American status and was offered Olympic tri-outs.
Educationally, he acquired a two year degree in Electronics Technology. He attended State Fair Community College from 1981-1982. He then attended Missouri Valley College from 1983 through 1986 where he pursued a degree in Business Administrations. In January of 2007 he returned to school at Phoenix University at the Lenexa, Kansas location.
In the year of 2003, he was called into pastoral-ship after the death of his father. He now serves as the Senior Pastor of Powerhouse Ministries COGIC; Supt. of the Unified District and the Executive Director of Powerhouse Community Development Corportation.
